WorcNet - providing access to information and training, helping remove barriers for women returners and women entrepreneurs.

Project workers who live and work in the Dales are well aware of some of the major issues that women can face in isolated rural communities and will work with members of the network. We will help members access information and training, organise regular workshops and meetings which will provide members with an oppotunity to network with other members and support agencies.

WorcNet is a networking initiative that supports women living within North Yorkshire who are exploring ways of becoming economically active.  Members are supported into training, employment, business start up and business development.  A personal development theme underpins the initiative.

We provide a focal point for exchange of ideas and information, we offer members the opportunity to make contacts and friendships that will aid skills development, business growth and the achievement of GOALS!

WorcNet works closely with Craven College, who manage the project and provide the staff, through this collaboration we can provide the knowledge and support you may need to help develop your future.
